i never expected you to leave me alone like this
i opened and closed my eyelids 3 times and you were gone like a jetplane dropping a bomb
you rushed out of my house quicker than my pupils dilated when i turned on the lights
it took me a few moments to realize the gravity of the situation
you left me stranded all alone like a bleeding dog on the side of the road
i dragged myself across the kitchen floor and the path was filled with blood
i knew there was something wrong when my pants and shirt and socks were soaked with that dark red muck
i got up and i walked myself to my room
i curled up as tight as i could and i howled myself to sleep
